Fire Shield Systems provides a range of manual, hand-operated, and automatic remote-control robotic monitor systems, in a range of high-grade materials, which are manufactured and tested to the highest industry standards.
Designed to EN 13565-1, the remote-controlled monitor (RCM) is an efficient, compact and reliable cannon solution with excellent flow characteristics. The monitors offer a flexible solution to cover open areas with a radius of up to 45m from the monitor, at 360°.
Suitable for application in a wide range of detection systems, the monitors can be used as a water-only firefighting solution or with a range of firefighting agent additives, such as AFFF or Class A wetting agents, depending on your site’s individual risks.

The systems were initially manufactured and developed for marine and off-shore oil and gas applications, where factors such as temperature and corrosion require robust and stringently tested components. As a result, the monitors are designed, engineered and tested to meet the highest industry standards.
The RCM is equipped to handle any situation with its modular design. As such, it can always be adjusted to meet the customer’s needs. For example, it can have a flow between 750 and 1400 l/m, and can be fitted with a remote-controlled adjustable fog/jet nozzle (EON) or aspirating foam branchpipe (AFN).
